Weigen Motors and DCS International beat their opponents in the ongoing Duterte Basketball League (DBL) 5-10 Under tournament to be held at the Capitol Parish gym, Escario St., Cebu City on D Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Weigen Motors mercilessly outclassed the STC Sniper, 65-43, while DCS International also outclassed Toyota, 50-29, to register their victory in the tournament that began last month.
Patrick Cardosa hit 15 points, two rebounds and four steals to be named best player of the game in Weigin Motors victory.
Donald Cabajar also led the DCS International with his 12 points.
In another game, the Tisa Bulldogs caught the hands of Bertech, 63-52. Nikko Chavez led the victory with 11 points, three rebounds and two blocks.
Aquilla Trading also won, 79-70, against Chancellor under John Velasco with 14 points and five rebounds.
Truck and Trail Transport and Services also bagged a simple win against Zeex Tailoring, 65-38. AJ Conajap starred in victory with 12 points.
The tournament whose purpose is to give chance and exposure to basketball players of minus height but with enough ability, was organized by sportsman Saddam Duterte. JBM
